Ice Awards 2014

Current celebrated last week with agencies and the creative marketing minds from across Atlantic Canada at the 2014 Ice Awards show.  As the primary sponsors of the event, the producers of the audiovisuals at the awards show, AND the hosts of the after-party, a lot of work went into pulling off a successful evening in which we showcased some of the fantastic marketing and advertising work being produced in Atlantic Canada.

 

 Current was recognized in two categories; Best Use of Innovative Technology and Best Mobile Application or Website for their Virtual Mazda 3 and Tek-Recon projects, respectively. 

 

We were also proud to be involved in the production of some of the evening’s winners; Hawk Agency’s Atlantic Cancer Research Institute “Close to Home” television spot earned a merit award, and Impact’s Atlantic Film Festival PSA “Itch” won silver. 

 

The evening was a great opportunity to announce Current’s new identity and to show off what we are all about.  This was most evident when the show was all over and everyone congregated at Pacifico Nightclub for the Current Studios 54 after-party.  The drinks were flowing and hips were jiving at the disco-themed event as everyone gave themselves a well-deserved pat on the back.
